Incheon International Airport (approx. 1 h 10 min by Airport Railroad Express (AREX) → Seoul Station (approx. 1 h by train) → Daejeon Station (approx. 15min by subway) → City Hall Station (Exits 1 and 2) → Daejeon Metropolitan City Hall •From Cheongju International Airport (approx. 1 h by train) → Daejeon Station (approx. 15 min by subway) → City Hall Station (Exits 1 and 2) → Daejeon Metropolitan City Hall

By car

  • From Seoul or Busan: Take the Gyeongbu Expressway or Jungbu Expressway to Hoedeok JCT, then take the Honam Expressway to North Daejeon IC (From Gwangju: Take Honam Expressway to North Daejeon IC)
  • Exit at North Daejeon IC and turn left at intersection (approx. 50 M ahead)
  • Continue through first intersection (approx. 300 M)
  • Climb up the hill (road curves left), then turn right at the Daedeok Cultural Center Fork (three-way intersection) (approx. 400 M)
  • Continue through first fork (approx. 100 M)
  • Pass EXPO Park and continue through intersection (approx. 1 KM)
  • Continue straight over bridge, then turn left at third intersection (Government Complex Intersection) (Approx. 1.5 KM; you should see the Daejeon Government Complex in the 11 o’clock direction)
  • Continue straight toward Daejeon Government Complex, then turn right (approx. 600 M)
  • Continue straight toward City Hall Intersection until city hall entrance (approx. 700 M)
    • Expected time from Seoul Toll Gate : Approx. 2 h
    • Expected time from Busan Toll Gate : Approx. 3 h
    • Expected time from Gwangju Toll Gate : Approx. 2 h
