This house is designated as Daejeon City’s second folk material. It used to be the house of Byeongha Song, the second grandson of Dongchung-dong, Jungil Song. Currently, his 11th grandson lives there. When you enter the gate called “Ilgakdeamun,” you can see the big detached house on your left and a rather smaller one on your right. When you enter the middle gate of the small detached house, you can see the simple three story building with the squre shaped pillars on the foundation stone of the square angle on“ㄱ” shaped plane. The main building was recently renovated with the glass storm door in the main floored room. The small room of the main building has eight sections in the front and two sections on the side as a long house of paljak roof of a single eave. At the end of the right side, a wooden veranda slightly higher than ground level was installed. On the right side outside of the house, the man-made pond adds the beauty to the entire house.
