The silver grass is taller than the visitors, and hovers over like a tunnel while holding tightly on to the people until they disappear. The sand along the whirling waterside reminds the visitors of a beach, and the various colors striding in between the people walking far in front depict the season. As the wind blows, the sunlight is reflected in the silver grass and falls like jewelry fluttering on the surface of water.
Walk around the village and go up Mt. Baekgolsan which is filled with deep pine tree fragrance. The mild pepper trees, together with the flowers and trees will console you during tough trekking. Around Baekgolsanseong Fortress, Mt. Sikjangsan can be seen far away and Daecheong Lake will unveil itself. The breeze that dries your perspiration will leave you in awe, breaking the silence of the mountain. The sight will make you feel as if you’re floating on Daecheong Lake, unfolding like panorama.
