
Hanbat Sports Complex
This complex is composed of a soccer stadium with athletic tracks, a gymnasium for basketball, volleyball, badminton, and handball, an indoor swimming pool, another multi-purpose gymnasium, a baseball stadium, tennis courts, a Ssireum (Korean wrestling) ground, an inline hockey rink, and a gateball court. Athletic tracks are open to the public from 5:00 to 9:00 and 17:00 to 21:00 free of charge.

World Cup Stadium
This stadium was built for the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan. The Korean National Team beat the Italian team here to enter the quarterfinals. Currently it is used for the city¡¯s professional football club, the Daejeon Citizen. The complex also contains an indoor swimming pool and a fitness center.

There are a Cycling Velodrome, a Korean-style archery court and a
Western-style archery court at the Wolpyeong Sports Grounds, which were constructed in 1994. The Cycling Velodrome was built for the 75th National Sports Championships and is mainly used by students and professional cyclists. It has a seating capacity of 2,540.

Bokyong Equestrian Club
This club is located in Yuseong-gu. It is the only equestrian club in the Chungnam area. People can use this club for horseback riding. Monthly membership for adults is 350,000 Won and for youths, 250,000 Won.

The Olympic Commemorative Sports Center was built to commemorate the Seoul Olympics in 1988. The OCSC facilities include an indoor swimming pool, an aerobics studio, a fitness studio, squash courts, and a multi-purpose gymnasium.

Korean Archery Wolpyeong Court (in Wolpeyong Park)
The Wolpyeong Archery Range was opened in 1994. It is located inside Wolpyeong Park in Dunsan. Korean archery is a little bit different from Western style archery; lessons can be arranged. There is also an archery range for Western-style archery.

Daejeon Bomunjeong was opened in 2004 as a traditional Korean archery field called Gukgungjang. ¡®Gukgung¡¯means traditional Korean archery. This Gukgungjang is located within Ppuri Park, Chimsan-dong, Dong-gu.
