Daejeon Metropolitan Government opened this center to
help foreign visitors and residents understand Korean culture and learn the Korean language. The center is supported by the municipal government, but it
is a private organization.
The center provides counseling on difficulties
in living, information on tourism and culture, a meeting room for foreigners and Korean language classes.

Daejeon Association for Foreign Laborers
The Association provides labor-related counseling, medical support, shelter, Korean language classes, job counseling, public opinion building, various programs including sports, camps, holiday events, and mission worship for migrant workers.
It also conducts surveys and does research on problems and issues of migrant workers.

Total Support Center
Not only does the Center provide free medical counseling, free legal counseling, job-seeking services, human rights and religions counseling for foreign workers, but it also offers places for rest and gatherings
for free. The Center's human rights protection efforts are made through
various educational activities and volunteer work.

SEM(Scientists & Engineers Members) International
SEM International is a Christian volunteer organization composed of 150 volunteers, helping foreign visitors
with their needs. It started in 1995 with teaching the Korean language.
Currently it offers various activities including language classes and cultural understanding, friendship building parties, and field trips. They also visit prisons to help foreign inmates.

International Fellowship Network
The IFN is a non-governmental organization (NGO) aimed at building international fellowship among Koreans and foreign residents including students, scientists, and workers in Korea. It originated from the Foreign Students Association in Daejeon (FOSAD) formed in 2001 by journalists, professors, foreign students, and entrepreneurs. The FOSAD was changed to IFN in 2003 and aims to promote friendship. Activities include dinner receptions
for the Chinese on Lunar New Year¡¯s Day, soccer games, trips to Jeongdongjin and Geumsan Ginseng Festival, Vietnamese Students¡¯Day, Christmas party, sports festivals for foreign students, Mongolian Miigaa¡¯s Recital, Hydro Dam Tour, etc.

International Friendship Center
The IFC aims to help migrant workers, foreign students, and immigrant
women married to Korean nationals learn Korean and understand Korean culture. The Center also offers counseling on various issues including medical problems, welfare, and volunteer services. Its activities include providing regular medical check-ups,
beauty salon service, sports activities and computer classes.
