I'm Park Seoung-hyo, the mayor of Daejeon Metropolitan City.

I welcome you to the mayor's office with my whole heart.

With the development of Daedeok Innopolis and the creation of future creative industrial complex, Daejeon, a city of science, culture and national defence, is being transformed fast into a city good enough to do business.

The 30 million-tree planting movement has filled the entire urban area with evergreen forest, and now you can take a short rest in the shade of a tree before crossing the road.

The Happy-River Creation Project has enabled clean water to run in the major three rivers all year round.

With the supply of consumer-oriented tailored industrial sites and the establishment of the cluster of renewable energy and defense industry, business and life environment is getting better, inducing outside business firms and talented personnel to Daejeon.

My only dream is to enable all Daejeon citizens to live a happier and healthier life in this creative city of Daejeon.

I'll try my best to lay a bridge for dreams and hopes, aiming for the future along with all of you.
