  • Free Transfer Trips : Between the same means of transportation, metro subway ↔ regular bus, the pricy means of payment becomes the less pricy means of payment
    • An extra fare of 100 won is charged when taking the metro subway for two sections (1,100 won for one section, 1,200 won for two sections)
    • Transfer trips apply only to 1 person 1 card.
    • If you pay fares for more than two persons with one traffic card, transfer trips apply to only one person, while the other one is required to pay the normal fare.
    • Free (discounted) transfer trips do not apply to transfers within the same bus route.
    • Travelers should place their traffic cards on terminals both when getting on and off the vehicles for free (discounted transfer) trips.
  • Established Broad Area Transfer System with BRT of Sejong City
    • Date of enforcement: June 1, 2013
    • Transportation means: BRT of Sejong city (No.990 bus routes) ↔Daejeon public transportation (city bus, metro subway, mini shuttle bus)
    • Traffic cards (Shinhan Hankkumicard, credit-based traffic cards) are advised to be used for free (discounted)transfer trips.
    • For free(discounted) transfer, traffic cards must be placed on the terminal when both getting on and off the vehicle.
    • Number of transfers: three (total of four transfers are available)
    • If the rates of each transportation means are different, the difference between rates of more expensive transportation means and that of less expensive ones is paid.

    ※ Sejong BRT (1,550 won) → transfer to Daejeon city bus at Banseok Station (free): total 1,550 won
    ※ Daejeon city bus (1,100 won) →transfer to Sejong BRT at Banseok Station (450 won): total 1,550 won
